I was going through the Naval Flight Program in 1967/68.  I was a Marine Officer.  Well three of us found Abe's 506 club and just loved it. As I remember, there were 3 of us who went all the time.  Three white guys.  We were treated great. We danced and joked around with everyone, I loved it. We saw several great artists-Ike and Tina Tunrner, Joe Tex, etc. -Gary
